2. The “Promoter” is Coastguard New Zealand, 3 Solent Street, Mechanics Bay, Auckland 1010.

3. Entry is only open to New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over.

4. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, brother, sister, step-brother or step-sister.

5. The promotion commences on 01/02/2022 at 00.00 NZST and closes on 31/07/2022 at 23:59 NZDT (“Promotional Period”).

6. 12. The draw will take place at the Promoter’s office on 08/08/2022 at 10:00. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by email or telephone within two (2) business days of the draw.

13. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

14. The winner will receive a gift voucher for $500 NZD that can be redeemed for a boat experience via www.redballoon.co.nz (“Prize”). The boat experience will not be in a Coastguard vessel. Transport, transfers, and all other ancillary costs are not included in the Prize.

15. The winner must abide by the terms and conditions stated in the gift voucher.

16. Subject to the unclaimed prize draw clause, if for any reason the winner does not take/redeem the prize then the prize will be forfeited.

17. If the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

18. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.

19. Should the Prize be unclaimed, a draw may take place at the Promoter’s office on 12/09/2022 at 10:00, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winners will be notified by email or telephone within two (2) business days of the draw.

20. • Thanking donors for their donation
• Reminding members when their membership is about to expire
• Informing supporters about upcoming fundraising, membership, lottery, courses, events and other Coastguard news and activities
• Internal analysis and record keeping

We allow supporters the option to have their name publicly associated with their donation unless the donor explicitly chooses to be anonymous when donating. In all other cases the default is for staff and volunteers to assume all donations are not to be publicly announced unless the donor explicitly indicates otherwise.

Vessel information will be used to help us provide a first-class membership service to you, including for marine assistance purposes.

Comments given in forms and surveys may be used in promotional materials, with supporter approval, while comments sent to us via email, fax or telephone are kept strictly confidential.

Financial information All access to supporter financial information is strictly limited to professional staff who need to process this data. Coastguard only uses online payment processing services with first class security and strong reputations.
